CAMBRIDGE TO CONSIDER BUYING DOGS FOR POLICE

The Cambridge City Council took a tentative first step towards including dogs in the city's police department Monday. It ordered that the police chief and the city manager look into the feasibility of using dogs in police work. If these two report back favorably to the Council, then the nine man body will have to decide whether the cost of canines is worth the added bite to Cambridge's finest.
