David L. Halberstam '55 has been named, along with two other American correspondents in Vietnam, to receive this year's Louis M. Lyons award "for conscience and integrity in journalism."
The award has just been established by the 1963-64 class of Nieman Fellows to honor Lyons, who plans to retire as curator of the Fellowships this year.
