Lacrosse Team Will Face Tufts

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Harvard lacrosse team shouldn't have any trouble making it nine in a row when they oppose Tufts today.

The Jumbos boast a weakish 2-4 record, with losses to Holy Cross and Brown teams, both of which, in turn, lost to Harvard.

Only if the Crimson is looking ahead to this Saturday's contest with Princeton should the Jumbos make it a game. That's already happened this year; supposedly weak Holy Cross took the Crimson into overtime after an easy win over powerful Cornell.

And no one could blame the team for looking ahead to this weekend's game. Princeton, seven time Ivy lacrosse champion, has never lost an Ivy game, though Harvard tied them once a few years back. This year Princeton could be vulnerable. They barely squeaked past Brown 8-7 (the same score by which Harvard beat the Bruins) and they absorbed a 20-1 pasting from national power Navy.
