The Crimson golfers went down 4-3 at the hands of Penn and turned back the Columbia golfers 41/2-21/2 in matches held last Friday in New York.

Stan Abrams, number two man and team captain, was the only Harvard golfer to win both matches, taking his Penn opponent by four holes with three to play and Columbia's representative by six with four to play. John Olson stood out for the Crimson at number six, shooting a 79 game.

Holy Cross hosts the team in Worcester today in a match rained out last week. Brown's golfers come to Cambridge Wednesday, and the squad meets Cornell in Ithaca Saturday.
