John W. Shelton '64 of Kirkland House and Harvard, Mass., finished first out of 38 contestants in the Outing Club's annual bicycle race to Wellesley College Saturday. Shelton took 35 min. 24 sec, to complete the 6 1/2-mile course.
Winners of the other seven prizes, given by the Bicycle Exchange, were: Harlem Himel '66 of Lowell House and Kensington, Md.; James G. Sise '67 of Wigglesworth Hall and Brookline; Richard R. Ring of Pittsfield; and William J. Underwood, Jr. '67 of Matthews Hall and South Dartmouth.
Also, Jonathan K. Chaffee '66 of Dudley House and Lyne, N.H.; Jonathan Peck of Cambridge; and Peter B. Leavins 3G of Summit, N.J.
