Bunting Will Testify In Washington Today

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Mary I. Bunting, president of Radcliffe, will testify before the Senate members of the Joint Committee on Atomic Energy at 9 a.m. today. After questioning her, the committee, chaired by Sen. John A. Pastore (D.R.I.), will vote whether to recommend that the Senate confirm her appointment to the Atomic Energy Commission.

The Southern filibuster on the civil rights bill may delay Senate action on Mrs. Bunting's appointment for a short time, but it is expected that a vote will be taken before the filibuster ends.
