Amherst Golfers Defeat Crimson

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Crimson golfers lost their opening match to the Lord Jeffs at Amherst yesterday by a narrow 4-3 margin. Captain Stan Abrams termed the results of yesterday's match "disappointing." He suggested that Lord Jeff's recent practice session in Florida may have been a factor in the close contest.

Winners for the Crimson were Jim Campen, Bob Seelert and John Hawkins. Number-one man Campen took a 1 up victory on the nineteenth hole. Seelert and Hawkins won by scores of 1 up and 3 and 2 respectively.
