The opening of the NCAA Ski Championships at Dartmouth was postponed yesterday because of a rain storm that ruined the alpine courses on Mt. Ascutney at nearby Windsor, Vt. The Crimson ski team is slated to participate in the meet.

The Nordic events will be held tomorrow, as the 40-metre jumping hill and the cross country track on the Hanover Golf Course are still in competitive shape. The slalom and giant slalom exents have been re-scheduled for Saturday on Canon Mountain in Franconia, N.H., a more northerly site.
