"If we're going to beat Trinity Saturday, our fencing team can't be as sloppy as it was in the M.I.T. match," Coach Edo Marion warned yesterday. The Crimson edged to its 15-12 victory last Wednesday only because the Engineers were even more "sleepy" than Harvard, Marion added.
Trinity may provide stiff competition for even a wide-awake team. Harvard squeaked past the Hilltoppers 15-12, last year and Trinity looks as good as ever this season.
Marion will enter the usual first-team line-up against Trinity, Larry Butler, John Kolb and Paul Zygas will compete in the sabre, with Captain Nick Spitzer, Kent Brittain and Steve Chalmers in the epee. Dick Dooley, Dan Kirsch and Lloyd Ramsey will fence with the foil.
