Frank Baker intercepted a pass and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown that gave the JV football team a 7-3 victory over Princeton Saturday.
Princeton had taken the lead late in the half on a 20-yard field goal and still held a 3-0 lead when Baker grabbed a Jim LaFountain pass that had been partially deflected. Jim Babcock's extra point gave the Crimson its margin of victory.
Earlier, Babcock had kicked a 40-yard field goal that was nullified by a penalty against Harvard.
Dick Hudak and Max Evans stood out in a good defensive line for Harvard, while Tom Mechem, who returned a kickoff 57 yards, and fullback Matt Donelan were the offensive standouts.
