The Radcliffe Athletic Association will hold tryouts for cheerleaders for the Boston Patriots this afternoon. Of the 34 applicants, eight will be chosen to cheer for the Patriots in their Nov. 20 game.

Each contestant must prepare a cheer for the football team, either original or an adaptation. The girls will be judged on the basis of agility, appearance, enthusiasm, poise, and voice.

Finalists will also be asked to perform stationary and running jumps and a cart wheel, according to Mrs. Barbara Pillinger, advisor of the A.A. and one of the judges.
