Girls With Bicycles Bedeviled by 'Ogre'

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Thirty Cliffies who have had their bikes confiscated this week have charged Ralph P. Gates, director of Radcliffe Buildings and Grounds, with "unfair harassment practices."

"Whenever a girl leaves her bike in the middle of the front walk, she's going to get it taken away," Gates retorted.

"Gates is an ogre," protested Carol Stein '65, as she paid $1 to have her bike unchained from the basement of Gilman House. "I refuse to pay," said Mary L. Wissler '66, as she grabbed her bike and ran off with it.
