Harvard Wins Honors In Debate Competition

Three teams from the Harvard Debate Council took all the honors in the Sir George Williams University International Parliamentary Debate Tournament this weekend in Montreal, Que.

Michael Rebell '65 and Laird Kirk-patrick '65 defeated Loyola University for the championship, and a team of Frank White '66 and Cheng Teik Goh '66 finished second on the basis of won-lost record and total points.

Debating on the topic "Resolved That Race Relations Can Be Improved by Legislation," the Harvard teams had a collective won-lost record of 12-0.
