I think that I shall never see

A Cause as urgent as a tree.

A Sycamore from heaven sent

To focalize our sentiment.

Some say the human heart is sick,

Some fault the body politic.

These things perplex. It gives me ease

To have just cause. Preserve the trees!

In Vietnam or Alabam

Some would confront the ill of Man.

Fight the good fight along the Drive.
