Foilmen Overwhelm Brandeis Team, 22-5

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard's fencers swept to an overwhelming 22.5 rout over Brandeis at the last night. In an almost unprecedented coup, the foilmen clinched their victory early in the match by winning all of the first 14 bouts.

Don Kirsh, Dave Dooley, and Paul Zygas led the Crimson to their victory. Between them they accounted for nine of the Crimson's 22 points.

The victory places the fencing team's record at five wins and two losses. This Saturday they travel to New York to play a strong Columbia team, which they expect to provide slightly more competition than did the group from Brandeis.
