Sound impressive? It's not. Harvard's final pre-Ivy League tuneup in Worcester at 8 p.m. will be nothing but a morale-boosting rout of the Engineers.
Unless a seige of galloping leprosy strikes down the Crimson shortly before game time, they should win by 20 points.
The Crimson will probably start with its usual contingent of Barry Williams, Bob Inman, Merie McMlung, Al Bornheimer, and Leo Scully. A victory will give Harvard a 6-2 non-Ivy record.
W.P.I. opened its season with a 93-76 pasting of Suffolk, and also walloped Lowel Tech (103-84) and Nichols (82-67). But against Wesleyan, the only school on their schedule you've ever heard of, the Engineers were subdued, 36 to 69. And Harvard beat the Cardinals earlier this season.
