Moviegoers waited outside the Harvard Square Theatre for 45 minutes yesterday afternoon while members of the Cambridge Police and Fire Departments searched the theatre for a bomb that wasn't there.

The audience was evacuated at 3:30 p.m. when an anonymous female phone caller told police a bomb had been placed in the theatre; the afternoon's showing of "The Wheeler Dealers" was finally resumed at 4:15 p.m.
