All Harvard Summer School Students are invited to participate in the Third Annual Poetry Competition. Entries should be submitted to the Social Director, Matthews Hall 4, by 5 p.m., July 31. The winer will receive $25; second prize is $15; third prize is $10.
The wining poems will be read by their authors on August 14, following the regular Wednesday evening poetry reading. These Wednesday series, held in the Forum Room of Lamont Libary, will feature such well-known poets as Martin Halpern, Desmond O'Grady, Leon Barron, and William Ferguson.
The winning poems will appear in the Harvard Summer News. Competition regulations are now available in the Social Director's Office.
