7 Mountaineers At 19,000 Feet

The seven Harvard mountaineers who had been feared lost last week have reached the 19,000-foot mark in their attempt to scale the 19,420-foot North Peak of Alaska's Mt. McKinley, the tallest mountain in North America, it was reported Wednesday.

At their present rate, it is likely that the climbers have now already conquered the mountain and are starting their descent.
