Renamed the Sheraton - Commander, the 350-room hotel will be the 87th in the international Sheraton system.

The new management said that a million dollar restoration program has already started on the hotel, which includes air-conditioning of all rooms and work on the hotel's two ballrooms, function rooms and restaurant.
