PBH's Project Tanganyika still has far to go in its efforts to raise $45,000, although it has more money now than did last year's group at this same time. Last year's drive for $35,000 was successful.

The cost of sending ten students for a full year and ten for a summer has always been the main obstacle to the PBH program, now in its third year.

Although Alison B. Liebhafsky '64, the project director, has indicated that there is a possibility of support from the Ford Foundations, she has announced intensified efforts to locate possible sources of support.

Currently the project is seeking information from friends and students regarding possible leads for foundation and individual support.

The group has already sent more than 200 appeals to foundations, business corporations, and personal acquaintances. Several of these sources have not yet indicated whether they will act favorably towards the Project's request.
