Crime Triumphs

Fate marched on this weekend as the CRIMSON trounced both the Crimson Printers and Tocsin by identical scores of 23-2. Against the Printers on Saturday, the CRIMSON got off to a good start, hopping off to a quick 19 run lead in the first inning. The Printers came back strong in the top of the eighth with a two run burst, but the CRIMSON pushed across four more in the bottom half of the eighth to put the game on ice.

Tocsin proved a slightly harder nut to crack as the end of regulation time found the score knotted at two-all. The CRIMSON slapped the peace-loving Tocsin nine with a 21-run eleventh inning, and Tocsin turned the other cheek and also bowed to the inevitable.
