Peter H. Wood '64, of Eliot House and Owings Mills, Md., will captain the varsity lacrosse team next year in the squad's third season as a major University competitor. Wood's play on the Crimson's second midfield and extra-man unit this year was a crucial factor in the varsity's offense.
Playing in spite of a painful shoulder separation. Wood was fifth in team scoring this season with 17 points and 14 goals. Senior Joey Prahl was the only midfielder to outscore the six-foot junior during the Crimson's 12-game season.
Wood first played lacrosse in the spring of his sophomore year. His improvement during the past two seasons has been remarkable.
