UNIVERSITY NAMES LESSER PROFESSOR OF EDUCATION

Gerald S. Lesser, a specialist in personality theory and child development, has been appointed professor of Education and Developmental Psychology.

Currently an associate professor of education at Hunter College in New York, Lesser will teach developmental psychology as applied to the educational setting. He will give courses both in the Graduate School of Education and in the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Out of his research studies, Lesser co-authored the book Personality and Persuaslbility, published in 1959. His work has included a study of juvenile delinquency by means of computer simulation.
