Alfred L. Goldberg '63, of Dunster House and Providence, R.I., has received one of the first two scholarships awarded by the newly created United States Churchill Foundation. He and Michael M. Menke, Princeton '63, will travel to England next fall on grants for advanced scientific study.

The scholarship program was launched by seven American trustees of Churchill College, Cambridge University and is designed to finance study at Churchill College. It will also establish exchange fellowships in research between English and American universities.
