The skating season has been over for almost two weeks now, but Harvard continues to collect the congratulations of various hockey organizations large and small. The 1963 E.C.A.C. champions reaped four out of nine awards given by the New England College Hockey Association yesterday.
Ike Ikauniks, called "the most under-rated forward in the East" by coach Cooney Weiland, won the Association's Most Unsung Player Award and Dave Johnston added a trophy as the area's best defenseman to his long list of post-season honors.
Crimson goalie Godfrey Wood collected the New England College Hockey Award for noteworthy sportsmanship and Gene Kinasewich was singled out as the East's best defensive forward. Boston College's Jack Leetch was named the region's most valuable player.
