In an evening of honors at the Harvard Club of Boston last night, Gene Kinasewich was named Captain-elect of the varsity hockey team. Dave Johnston, Gerry Jorgenson, and goalie Godfrey Wood were also singled out for special awards at the post-season celebration.

Kinasewich, whose three goals made Harvard the 1963 E.C.A.C. champion a week ago, scored 35 points over the winter including six goals in the varsity's last three contests. He will succeed Tim Taylor, another forward, as team Captain.

All-America defenseman Dave Johnston received the Tudor Memorial Award as the Crimson's most valuable player and Jorgenson won the Angier Trophy as the varsity's most improved performer over the past season. Jorgenson centered the line of Kinasewich and Bill Fryer--the JFK unit instrumental in the Crimson's final nine-game winning streak.

Wood, receiving the annual Canterbury Award, was designated the best net minder in the Ivy League for 1962-63.
