In the concrete caverns of Johannesburg the other Harvard stands. With a 20-foot long golden sign it proclaims itself--South Africa's oldest and largest commercial and secretarial school. Harvard in Johannesburg is more reputable and restrained than its arch-rival Yale. That secretarial school, as one might expect, has a gaudy red neon sign which hawks its wares above Phil Morkel's furniture and Bethlehem's home appliances.
