Peter Valdes, a native of Venezuela and national secretary of the Young Socialist Alliance, will speak tonight on the political situation in Venezuela.
Valdes spoke before the Harvard Summer Socialist Club last July, ten days before the Summer School withdrew official recognition of the organization.
Henry E. Kahn '64, president of the Harvard-Radcliffe Socialist Club, which is sponsoring the speech, said that Valdes had been invited as "someone who will present the complete picture" of the Venezuelan situation. The talk will be presented in Room 18, 2 Divinity Ave, at 8 p.m.
