Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
The Harvard squash machine ground up M.I.T. 9-0 last night for its fourth straight win and third straight shutout.
The win, accomplished with the usual precision, made the statistics for Harvard's last three matches extraordinarily impressive. Seven Harvard players won their best-of-five-game matches 3-0. Lou Williams dropped one game to Jon Gruber in the number three match; Alan Terrell beat Wayne Wilner at number seven, 3-1. So the Crimson won 27 of 29 games for the match, which now makes a total for the last three matches 81 out of 85 games for the Harvard raquetmen.
John Francis, normally the ninth-ranked racquetman, couldn't play last night, so sophomore Pete Brooks filled in and looked very good, walloping Al Dinner 3-0.
Just to make it a perfect evening, Jim Wynne and Ken Rosenthal won unofficial matches from M.I.T.'s tenth and eleventh players.
