H. Stuart Hughes, professor of History and a candidate last fall for the U.S. Senate, has been named co-chairman of the National Committee for a Sane Nuclear Policy, a SANE spokesman announced yesterday. His appointment, along with that of Dr. Benjamin Spock, the pediatrician, was confirmed in New York by the peace group's executive board.
