Johnson Sees de Gaulle

WASHINGTON, Nov. 25--President Johnson reached agreement with French President Charles de Gaulle tonight for a full scale exchange of views here early in 1964.

De Gaulle was only one of 17 top foreign leaders with whom Johnson had brief private talks, but the outcome of the two Presidents' discussion far outweighed anything resulting from Johnson's other sessions.

De Gaulle has stood in opposition to many of the international policies which Kennedy had sponsored and which Johnson is pledged to pursue. Therefore a meeting between the two presidents could have a great influence on the whole pattern of the Western alliance.

Mor talks with foreign leaders are scheduled Tuesday at the White House. The President will meet separately with British Prime Minister Sir Alec Douglas-Home, West German Chancellor Ludwig Erhard and Philippine President Diosdado Macapagal.
