Gov. John Chafee of Rhode Island will speak to the Young Republican Club this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in the Lowell House Junior Common Room. There will be a sherry hour before Chafee's informal speech.

The Rhode Island governor, who won a narrow upset victory over incumbent Democrat John A. Nottee, Jr. last year, will discuss "the future of the Republican Party in an increasingly liberalized, urbanized, and 'Kennedyized' New England."
