The death of Milton Herzog '63 was caused by an irregular heart condition aand had no aparent connection with his work in a Chemistry 20 laboratory the afternoon he died, according to a medical report released Monday.

An examination revealed that there was "no anatomical or toxicological cause of death." The report concluded that Herzog died of ventricular fibrilation, a disease of the heart in which its muscle fibers beat without co-ordination.

Herzog, who had left his lab section feeling unwell, was found deat in a third-floor washroom of the Mallinckrodt lab Nov. 7.
