SUMMER SCHOOL PLANS TRIP TO STRATFORD

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Summer School will sponsor a trip to the Shakespeare Festival at Stratford, Conn., if at least 45 students have signed up for the expedition by Wednesday, August 8.

The trip will take place during the week of August 13 when Richard II will be playing at the Festival.

This year's production starts Richard Basehart, Hal Holbrook, and Philip Bosco in the lead roles. Richard II is one of Shakespeare's earliest historical plays.

Students are urged to sign up as soon as possible at Matthews Hall 4 and then to check the bulletin board outside Room 1 in Matthews for final information about the trip.

The entire outing will cost $8; the price includes round-trip bus transportation to Stratford and tickets for the performance. The Union will arrange to pack box lunches for students living in dormitories.
