This Thursday. eve, the editors of the Harvard Summer News will throw open the doors at 14 Plympson St. for the annual introductory party. They will offer a hearty welcome to any brother journalists, or would-be journalists, enrolled in the Summer School. Free beer and a tour of the printing plant are all part of the evening's entertainment--that's Thursday, at 7:30 p.m.
Everyone is invited, males and females alike, and we won't be expecting any commitments or promises on your part. The Summer News is published twice a week by students in the Summer School--anyone interested in writing (new or reviews), photography (we have our own darkroom), or the business end of newspaper. People interested in covering the exciting political contests this summer are especially welcome, working as much or as little as the wishes.
The Summer News is managed by a skeleton crew of editors from the Harvard CRIMSON, the term-time University daily.
