The first of three summer concerts will be given this Thursday at noon in Memorial Church.

This week's concert will be given by Herbert Burtis, organist of the First Methodist Church in Red Bank, New Jersey. Burtis will play two sketches by Robert Schumann, one in S minor and one in D flat major.

He will also perform Schumann's "Fuge on Bach," Liszt's "Fantasy and Fuge on Bach," and Brahm's "O Gott, due Frommer Gott," and "Schumcke Dich, O Liebe Seele."

On July 9, a chamber music group will play selections from Telemann and Bach. On July 26, Lois Pardue, assistant organist at Memorial Church, will perform a complete Bach program.

Every weekday from 1 to 2 p.m. a program of recorded music will be presented in the garden of the Busch-Reisinger Museum (corner of Kirkland St. and Divinity Ave.)
