The varsity salling team placed fourth in a field of eleven last weekend in competition for the Owen Trophy--a competition resticted to the charter members of the First Intercollegiate Yacht Racing Association. The Coast Guard Academy took first place honors in this race hold on their home waters in New London, Connecticut. Carter Ford skippered the Harvard A division and Mike Horn skippered most of the B division.

In a pentagonal meet Sunday at Brown, the Crimson placed first as Chuck Angle and John Marshall skippered the sailors to victory.
