"the wide extent of misinformation about the United States in Japan," Louchheim expressed the hope that Japanese teachers and minor community could visit in private homes for a few months. During their stay, she they could find out about life in U.S. and relay the facts to their in Japan.

She also suggested that Radcliffe " some kind of relationship with one or more of the Japanese women's colleges in Tokyo." A regular exchange of information and ideas would clear up some of the misunderstandings and encourage friendship between the United States and Japan, she declared.
