John W. Price '62 will receive the George B. Sohier prize $250, for the best thesis of not more than 10,000 words presented by a successful candidate for honors in English or in modern literature. His thesis was entitled "Edmund Burke or "The Sultan Get Such Obedience as He Can.'"

Judith G. Kirshner '62 has been awarded the John Osborne Sargent prize, $200, for the best metrical translation of a lyric poem of Horace.

Ronald C. Perera '62 will receive the Francis Boott prize, $250, for his composition in concerted vocal music.

Peter C. Ober '62 has been awarded the John A. Walz Jr. prize $81, for the best general examination in, German literature.
