Architect Arvin and landscape architect Don H. Olson will become assistant professors in the Graduate School of Design, effective July 1.
An authority on shell structures, Galastay is this year a visiting critic at Harvard. Previously, he was visiting critic at Ogle State University, visiting lecturer at Princeton University and M.I.T., and lecturer on advanced structural design at Columbia University.
Olson has been associated with the firm of Sasaki, Walker and Associates, Inc. of Watertown since 1959. During the past two years he has been on leave of absence as a fellow in Landscape Architecture at the American Academy in Rome, having won the Rome Prize in 1960.
