The pennant-winning Crimson placed four men on the Greater Boston League All-Star team announced Wednesday. To the surprise of absolutely no one, the league coaches picked shortstop Dave Morse, third baseman Mike Drummey, second baseman Terry Bartolet and pitcher Paul Del Rossi. Morse was named as a utility player, the others at their regular positions.
The Crimson won all six of its league games to edge out second place Boston College, last year's champions. The Eagles also placed four men on the all-star squad.
Morse, the team captain, hit .409 in league play. Bartoiet was right behind him with a .350 mar. Drummey, who hit close to .500 for the whole season, batted .262 in GBL games. Del Rossi defeated Brandeis and Northeastern in the only two league games in which he appeared.
