Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
pectators saw some of the sloppiest and some of the slickest varsity lacrosse Dartmouth came up with the first face-off of the afternoon, threw two quick passes, and was ahead 1-0 after just 17 seconds of action. Playing control ball, the Indians quickly ran the score to 3-0 by the ten minute mark of the first quarter. When the varsity failed to score with two Dartmouth players in the penalty box, members of the crowd started to leave for the baseball game. But 55 seconds later, the Crimson had scored three times, and it was a tie game. Woody Spruance scored first on an extra man, play. A pass from midfielder Pete Wood to high-scoring Lou Williams brought the second tally, and moments later it was Spruance again, plowing his way through the Dartmouth defense for another goal. The scoring spree was one of the fastest in Harvard history, and featured two of Spruance's four game tallies. Before the period was over the Crimson's offensive steamroller had added two more goals on, shots from Spruance and Captain Grady Watts for a 5-3 lead. In the second half, Dartmouth continued to hold down the varsity attack, but Munro's midfielders hit the Indian nets for six more goals and a varsity victory. At 1:10 of the third period, Mike Bassett erased the Green's halftime lead on a fast break play from the midfield line. Just 12 seconds later, Bassett, a sophomore, did it again, surviving two Dartmouth blocks to make the goal. The varsity middies were brilliant the rest of the afternoon. "Tink" Leroy, running with the third midfield, contributed two goals and put the varsity ahead to stay. "Tink" Gunnoe, whose aggressive play gave the ball to the varsity time and again, quick-sticked a Spruance pass for another goal. They were joined by midfielder Joey Prahl, who ended the game's scoring with his second goal of the afternoon at 13:17 of the last quarter.
