Columbia walked off with the hones at the Eastern Intercollegiate Bridge Championships last Saturday and Sunday at Harkness Commons. Seven schools entered teams in the two championship events, the open pairs and the teams-of-four.

In the teams-of-four a group led by Richard J. Zeckhauser '62 and including Donald A. Bloch '64 led at the half-way mark, but was beaten out narrowly by a Columbia team. A second Harvard group, Richard K. Flershman '63, Alon S. Gleit '65, Edward A. Manfield '65, and Thomas D. Trivers '62, finished fourth.
