About 15,000 are expected to be in the stands when the umpire calls "Play ball" and the spine-tingling crack of horsehide against tempered ash signals the start of another season. Actually, the Bronx Barons, the New York Yankees, are probably going to win again, but it will be fun deluding ourselves for awhile.
