The varsity fencing team added to Harvard's domination over Yale Saturday by beating the Elis for the first time in five years. Gaining an advantage in all three events, the Crimson took the match by a score of 16 to 11.

Fred Boersma and Peter Busch each scored two victories and suffered one defeat in the foil, while Steve Khinoy won one and Dan Kirsch lost two bouts in the same event.

In the epee, John Reckler, Nick Spitzer, and Don McCloskey all won by 2-1 margins. Paul Winig and John Kennedy took two out of three bouts in the sabre while captain Jamie Pusey won one and dropped two.

Finishing the season with six victories and seven defeats, the varsity fencers will compete in their final matches this year at the Eastern Intercollegiate Fencing Championships March 6-7 at New York University.

The freshman team was less fortunate in losing its third match in four tries, 21-7.
