Appointments to the staffs of Dunster and Kirkland House were announced yesterday by the Corporation.

Ernest R. May, associate professor of History and Allston Burr Senior Tutor in Kirkland House, was named Acting Master for the Fall Term. Charles H. Taylor, Master of Kirkland House, plans a tour of England, Greece, and France. "It's not primarily for research," Taylor reported. "I expect to enjoy every minute of it."

Peter D. L. Stansky, instructor in History and Literature, will act as Senior Tutor of Kirkland.

While Lloyd I. Rudolph '48, Allston Burr Senior Tutor of Dunster House, journeys to India to work on a book, P. Carey McIntosh '55, Senior Advisor to Freshmen, will serve as Senior Tutor.

The temporary replacement for John M. Bullitt '43, Master of Quincy House, has not yet been announced. Next year Bullitt will do research at the Bodleian Library of Oxford University but plans skindiving in his free time.

The Corporation has not made official the appointed replacement for Benjamin W. Labaree, Allston Burr Senior Tutor in Winthop House. Labaree will tour Europe.
