Crimson Wrestlers To Face Maroon Tonight at IAB

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The varsity wrestling squad journeys to Springfield tonight for a match against what may prove to be the Crimson's toughest opposition of the year. Coach Bob Pickett rates Springfield as "at least as good" as the Rutgers team that downed the varsity last month.

A special problem tonight will be the absence of Pete Keller from the lineup at 123. Keeler severly twisted his knee in the Columbia match last Saturday and will be out for at least two weeks.

Good Match

Despite the troubles, though, Pickett thinks the Crimson can give Spring-field a good match. Bob Keledney (157), Fred Perelra (167), Paul Schnitz (177), George Doub (130), and Bob Fastev (Unl.) are all possible winners.

Ed Greitzer will start in place of Keeler at 123. Either Bill Smith or Jim Gaffney will go at 147.

This will be the last match for the Crimson outside the Ivy League. Next Saturday the team travels to Philadelphia to resume Ivy competition against unpredictable Penn.
