The squash team will take on an underdog Williams varsity this afternoon at 4 p.m. on the Ephs' home courts. Viewed primarily as a warm-up for the Yale match this Saturday, the contest should give the Crimson little difficulty.
Comparative scores going into the match put the Crimson far ahead. Williams, for example, lost by 9 to 0 to Princeton; but Harvard defeated this same team by 6 to 3. Moreover, the number two man on the Harvard freshman team, Allen Terrell, polished off the top ranked Eph varsity player in an invitational tournament in New York over Christmas vacation.
Williams has no outstanding players, but at least the top nine include no real clinkers. Indeed, the lower portion of the ladder is quite strong considering Williams' record thus far this year.
