WINTER SKIING AT WINTER CARNIVALS

On the weekend after exams, the Harvard Ski Team journeyed to Williams-town to take part in the eight-team ski meet which was part of the carnival weekend at Williams College. The team managed to place fifth (despite the exam period lay-off, and the obvious inability to practice steadily.) Above and left are team members competing. WHILE many competitors devoted their evenings to careful preparation of their skis before the next day's events, the carnival provided after dark diversion for the multitude with such entertainment as the Weavers and Bo Diddely. Last weekend the ski team returned to the slopes with a visit to the winter carnival at Dartmouth. They fared slightly better in the Hanover competition, finishing fourth in a field of ten.
